The first, original church was constructed in 1860 and lasted
56 years, until it was destroyed by fire in 1916. The same
year, the church was replaced by this one. Only to be demolished
due to ongoing expensive structural repairs. This church was
replaced by our present one in 1999. The total cost of this
project was $815,00000 with the community funding the project
almost independantly. On Sunday, June 13th 1999 Parishners
and Friends gathered for the official opening and dedication
mass of the new and present St. Pauls Church. In 1989 St.
Pauls Parish Center officially opened. This building serves
mainly as a funeral parlor and is also used as a community
centre.
